Dr. Goodman was raised in Bloomington, Indiana. He completed undergraduate studies in biochemistry and attended medical school at Indiana University. He went on to complete a Pediatric residency at Washington University in St. Louis and an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center/University of Cincinnati.
Throughout his training, Dr. Goodman conducted both extensive bench research as well as clinical research, and as a result he has a strong emphasis on evidence-based care. He is passionate about creating a friendly open environment for patients and provides care for a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders for both children and adults.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodi, and their two young children. He is thrilled to be practicing with Ohio ENT and Allergy Physicians and looks forward to meeting his new patients.
Explained the procedure and the meaning of the results in details that were easy to understand. Provided multiple treatment options to move forward. He explained the procedure to me so I could easily understand and made me feel comfortable signing up for it. The procedure itself was very quick and after about 3-4 days I was already feeling great. I can breath better than EVER and my nose has healed quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Hirsch for any ENT needs. His staff is also very courteous and pleasant to work with.
My visit went better than I had thought. Several years ago I had a bad reaction to a flu shot and was told to never get one again. I was concerned about getting the Covid vaccine. I was tested for allergies and all was ok. I was then asked if I wanted to take the flu shot so I did. It was administered in two does and Dr. Goodman checked in between the shots. I thought he was very thorough in explaining everything to me. All went well and I am now clear to get future flu shots and also the Covid Vaccine.
